I became a psychotherapist because I wanted to understand what was underneath it all.
I studied psychology, counselling, trauma, attachment, the nervous system and parts work. And then I spent years doing the thing no textbook can replicate.Sitting with people.
Listening to their stories. Watching the same human dynamics appear in completely different lives. Seeing what helped create real change and what simply created more insight.
Over time, I became less interested in looking at things separately. I wanted to understand how they were connected, and what actually helped them to change.
That's still what drives my work today.
Eventually, that became The Rewired Woman™.
The Rewired Woman began as a way of bringing together what I had learned professionally, what I had experienced personally, and what I'd seen again and again in my work with women.
At the centre of it is something I believe deeply: the patterns we struggle to change aren't random. When we understand what's driving them, we can finally start doing something different.
That's the foundation of The Rewired Woman Method™.
It looks at three systems together: the nervous system, attachment system and protective parts.
Together, they help explain how we respond to stress, what happens when relationships feel uncertain, and the ways we've learned to protect ourselves.
When you can see what's actually driving a pattern, you have somewhere to start. And that’s what creates real change.
